Information we collect

EditBanana uses Clerk for account authentication. When you sign in, we may store your Clerk user ID, email address, display name, and avatar URL in our database so we can associate subscriptions, credit balances, and image processing requests with your account.

Uploaded images and AI processing

When you use an AI image tool, your image and related edit instructions are sent to our processing infrastructure and AI providers only to complete the requested edit.

• Uploaded images are used to generate the requested output.
• We do not use your uploaded images to train our own models.
• Generated output and temporary processing data may be retained briefly for delivery, debugging, abuse prevention, or legal compliance.
• Some tools also perform local browser processing after an AI step, such as compositing a blurred background.

Billing, subscriptions, and credits

EditBanana uses Creem for checkout and subscription handling. We store subscription status, plan, provider IDs, webhook audit records, monthly credit balances, and credit transactions in our PostgreSQL database. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

Emails

We use Resend to send transactional emails such as welcome messages, subscription confirmations, and plan upgrade notices. Email messages are queued in our database before dispatch so delivery can be retried without blocking checkout or account flows.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session management, security, and analytics. We may use Google Analytics to understand product usage and improve performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers including Clerk for authentication, Creem for billing, Resend for email delivery, Google Analytics for analytics, and AI model providers such as Google Gemini for image processing. These providers process data according to their own terms and privacy policies.
